My science habitat is going to be shallow seas.  Shallow seas is in australia and hawaii.  They are also by the equater like the caribean and south america.  Some Dolphins live in shallow seas.  Shallow seas  holds coral reefs and lots of tropical fish.  Shallow seas also has sharks.It does not have great white sharks.  I think it has blue whales too.  Lots of people like to go scubadiving.

Mrs. Kam tought us alot on kokanee salmon. First it starts as an egg then a eyed egg a alvien from then a fry and then it grows up.Fish need cold water. the cold water helps it breath oxegyn.We played 2 games 1 about fish and 1 about a wheel of death.I also learned that the way they get shade is trees  too help the cold water.

Since spring break iv learned how to do narative essays.soon were going to learn how to do persuasive essays.We`ve done lots of fractions and desimols.For some reason I think it was really short.We`ve done Charlie and the Chocalate factory.I`ve read the book three times and I own the movie.I found the movie very adventourus.In science we`re learnig about habitats its a project.

I  think  I`ve done really well in social studies although I only got a B .I also think I did really well in my writing. My class  has still been doing our daily writing skills . Daily paragragh edit ,grammer,spelling,and vocabulary.I want to get a better habit in putting stylistic tools.

So far this week I have been doing a novel studie called the cricket in time square.I think it`s a good story so far.I`ve learned how to do the recorder two songs.My class has also been working on time in math.

 

 

Thurs,Dec 17                                 Winter vacation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!                         

 

  My family is probly staying home for winter vacation.We might go cuading up at dee lake,and have a camp fire with hotdogs and s`mores.(YIPPE) We usally have hershy chocalate.When we go cuading my aunt and uncle come, they are really fun.Me and my friend play outside everyday, in the snow we make a house  out of snow.It`s really fun making couches and the bath tub.Theres a hill by my house we go down with a sleigh.It`s really fun.My mom and dad are planning to go to big white and tube.My dad says'' It`s faster than slieghs''. (WOW) Me and my brother plan to wake up mom and dad at five o` clock in the morning.I hope you have a good break!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I learned this week about division,how multiplication can connect.It can connect by your multiplication question,if you get it right the first number can be the answer to the connected division question.I also had a thirty word spelling test,it was reivewew week so I already knew some words. I got one wrong, thats pretty good.Thank-you Thank-you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our class has been working in science.In science we are doing Unit three animals and habitats and how they live.How weather effects animals and people.

 

Friday,Nov 20                                What is my story about?

 

This week we finished our story about mythical  creatures.We handed in our story on wednesday my story was about Mudusa was walking on a sidewalk by Hydra`s house and Hydra does`nt like Mudusa at all.Hydra came out and bit her in the head.Ten days later Mudusa had dragon hair.Mudusa has a friend named Cerubus he gaurds the gate of hades,and loves Mudusa coming by and talking.Mudusa came by but,this time she did not want to talk she wanted to get in.When Hydra went to the washroom and left the key out where Mudusa can get it she got in.Mudsa was looking for a nice juicy snake there`s nice ones in the gate of hades .She found three of them but, they all turned to stone.Mudusa finally found a snake this time she did not look at it. She ate her snake and ten days later she had snake hair like normal.Mudusa got a gorgon husband.

 Friday,Nov 6                                      what I learned this week?

 

 Yesterday I learned how to do a spike in volleyball and a jump set. In socials we are doing a report on a famous explorer I think I`m going to do Henrey Hudson.We are practicing handwriting which is also called cursive we got to about e. 

 

 

 

In Social Studies today we learned about the inuit and what they do and what they eat.We watched a video and took lots of notes.I think it`s a good idea to learn by watching a movie beacause say ,your teacher is a bad drawer you might not understand .

This year in grade four I`m proud of the way I`m doing in math I`m doing it really fast,and neatly.When I`m doing language arts I always do it in time and I never get it for homework.I hope that I get better at writing.

 

 

 

 

October,15 2009                                                          week two

 

This week I made a story of anctient mythical creatures, I made a story about mudusa,hydra and cerburus.I`m making my story about Cerubus garding the gate of hades.Mudsa comes with her snake hair and Hydra`s house is right there.Hydra was mad because Mudsa was on her lawn,so Hydra got mad and bit Mudusa her hair turned into dragon`s .Then wanted to get into the hades Cerburus was mad,because he did not want Mudsa to get through he thought Mudsa was really bad but then I forget how but Mudsa got through so,Mudusa was walking and Cerbus caught her but could`nt catch her .Mudusa was walking in the hades and a snake thougt she was tasty,and the snake bit her she was finally back to normal Cerubus finally caught her Math!!!!!!!!! were done patterning now were doing numbers it is really easy.Science we had a science test I did really well,I got one wrong.

          Today, I made a two malandas - one with a peace sign and one with a smiley face. I like art because you can do any thing with  it. My peace sign has lots of colors, light blue, purple, light pink , and yellow. My smiley face is green and it has a tongue sticking out.

          In science we have been learning about temperature. With temperature, we reviewed how to observe weather. Once we went outside in groups with a thermometer and saw how hot it was.

          Social studies is really fun! We have been mapping; we drew a map of where we live. So far, my map is great.

          SPELLING!!!!!!!!!!! I love the spelling activities there really fun !! My spelling test was 20 out of 20. I did really well. Last weeks spelling test- I got 20 out of 20 too!!!!!!

          Daily paragraph editing is really new to me, but I am  getting the hang of it. Each day we have a paragraph edit page that we have to do. We have a vocabulary sheet that we do everyday; we do 1 side.

            I hate math, but it is important. In math, we are learning about patterning Mr.Johnson wants it over and done with (I do to).     

          In gym, we are doing tennis, so far so good. Our coach is the same as last time coach willy. I wonder when we our doing gym that is not tennis. My favorite sport is soccer and my favorite game is capture the flag.

          We usually go outside to play, capture the flag; same as soccer. I wonder what game we are playing next.

          I can't wait till we do more journaling. I love writing!! So far, it is just a reading response journal. Were going to be using it for book studies- I can not wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wonder what book we are doing next?
