Fri.April 16

THIS week we had a presentation .It was about konay Salmon.I have to say three things I learned .One thing I learned was Salmon lay 800 eggs and only 2 make it to spawn and sometimes none make it to spawn that's kinda sad.One other thing I learned is  that there are now so many things to kill Salmon by us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The lastthing is that only 2 eggs live ,2500 Alvin live ,375 fry and only 5 adults live from no one I say stop polluting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fir. march 26

THIS week I learned how to make orami I made a crane and a airplane .we had 3 Japanese s students come in to teach us .In math we are learning how to do fractions like 2 out of 10and other stuff like that ! In writing we are doing eassays mine is about bone  a grafic novel by jeff smith.I recomened you read the series!!!!!!!!!

Today we did our spelling test I got 25 out of 25.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Feb 26 2010

today I get to do something called 2 stars and a wish.On thing I improved on in the second  term is writing I'v learned to do dressups, sentens opener and decorations.Also Mr.Johnson has taught us to use proper punctuation and were to put comas.I'v also improved in math.Mr. Johnson taught us how to do fractions and how to use short cuts as help.One thing I'd like to improve on is my grammer.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Monday  Feb. 1

Today we played basket ball. First Mr. Johnson taught us how to play bump I knew how to play so I was a demonstration.Second he show us how to walk and dribble.After that we played a game of basket ball .Today in the library we did e-fsa test on math it was really easy.I got a good mark on my spelling  pre-test.It is out of 20 spelling words.In socal study's we are still doing are six week project.Well that's manely what I did today in school.

week 10

this week in math we started a new unit it's about measurement. We are learning how to meser time , length and a few other things.It's really easy .In social studies we are starting  a big 6 week long project. We are doing it in partners and it  can be any explorer we what .In scienc  we are starting a new unit it's about light and sound right now we are learning about artificial and natural light.In writing we are making storys we had to pick are characters and our problem out of a bin .My character is a rock star and the problem is he cant stop laughing. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

During winter break I will be playing in the fluffy,wight snow because it is excitingly fun .I like to watch the snow plummet to the ground.My other grandparents who live in Calgary are coming to visit me.I hope they come .while I'm in side I like to drink hot chocolate.On Christmas day well  open our gifts and see what Santa brought..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This week in math we are learning how to divide and in it we are learning how to understand the concept of division.We are also  how to write your own story problems.In science we are learning how to do something called THRILD it stands for Title-Heading-Read- Illustrations-Learning Summary and Discuss.

we are doing  all of them.In spelling we had a review test.It had 30 words.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This week in math we are learning how to find the product with the factors.Also we are learning how to find the product when you change the factor. In scienc we are learning how to pick out  key words and make sentences out of them.In gym we are learning how to play volleyball it's really fun.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This week we made storeys. Mine is about Cyclops and Hydra. The problem is every one would run away from  Hydra when Cyclops walks him.So Cyclops thinks of an idea to get people to like Hydra.In the end every one lives happly ever after. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This week I learned how to handwrite.The letters we learned are a b c and d.In socials we learned about Henry Hudson he is  named after Hudson bay.In math we are learning how to add estmate and how to carry numbers it's really fun.

Today I get to do something called 2 stars and a wish.

 

 

1 thing I'm good at is math.I can multiple, do my times tablas and all that stuff.

 

I'm also good at writing.I'm really good at spelling and proofreading.I would like to get better at art!

 

 

 

 

 week 4

This week in math we are learning about standard form ,expanded form and word form  it is when you take a regale number and switch it in to a form .     

In mapping we are learning about borders and continits it is really fun.In science

we are learning about the insturments used to measure  weather. 

 

 

 

 This week in science we learned about weather and how to measure it. When we went out side to see what the temperature was we had to work in a groups.The hottest temperature we had was 40 degrees and the coldest was 20 degrees.  In math we learned about patterns and pattern rules. For a example  we did some math problems like write the pattern rule for the quition and stuff like that.In p.e we are learning how to play tennis with coach wily it's really fun! Right now were learning about self control and ball control.

 

Oct. 2 09 

This week in art we made mandalas.  Mine was about world peace and no more war. The reason i chose  world peace is because my grampa was in the 2 world war and it means alto to have world peace.In social studies  we are learning about stereo typing.Stereo typing is when  you  judge some one by the way they look. For example when you see a biker guy don't say mom  dad i saw a big scary biker guy because you don't if he really is.In  p.e were learning how to play capther the flag it's really fun well that's all.
