Welcome to Mr. Johnson's grade 4 Wiki space. Here, students will each have a page to call their own.
What is a Wiki and why are we using it?
Wiki's are an excellent way to collaborate with peers and post information about any topic you like. The purpose of this page is to establish a learning log for each student in Mr. Johnson's grade 4 class.
What will be on this Wiki?
Students will be expected to treat this Wiki like a learning portfolio. Students will regularly update their page with learning reflections and discussions about what they are doing in class.
What else can this Wiki provide?
This Wiki provides students, parents, and the classroom teacher the benefits of assessing learning and progress. Students have a chance to reflect on their learning and discuss their peers' learning; parents have the benefit of seeing what their child is doing in school; and I have the chance to see the growth and collaboration of my class and its students.

Mr. Johnson,
Just so you know any of Christian's entries from the beginning of this program were erased. He blames my husband but I think it was something that he did. I just wanted to let you know that he had been entering on Wikki and that is the reason it looks like he has done so little.
