Current Science project on habitats and communities

Students are working on a science project where they will learn about habitats and communities.  They are creating this project in PowerPoint and will be uploading their presentation to this wiki.  The criteria for this project is:

1) Discuss a specific habitat and why this habitat is important.

2) Discuss which plants and animals are supported by this habitat.

3) Show the food chain of your habitat (for example - forests - cougar eats deer eats vegetation.  What happens if one link on the food chain disappears?)

4) Animal adaptations in the habitat.

5) Are there any endangered animal species in your habitat?

6) Extreme conditions and / or dangers of living in your habitat.

7) What kind of human interference has happened or could happen in your habitat?

The presentation should be about 15 slides including a title slide and credits slide.  I'm looking for specific, point form information and not a lot of depth of information.  The purpose of this project is to develop research, technology, and presentation skills.
