this is my last wiki entry of the year. I had a fantastic year with mr.johnson and i will miss him

i  woul like to say a HUGE thanks to mr. Johnson, he is a fantastic teacher. so thank you for all your help and all the things you did. i Hope he will have a great time at South Rutland. I also hope everyone will have a great summer.

I chose mountains for my habitat. Some facts are that in the morning monkeys groom each other, wolves don't attempt to attack until dark, avalanches travel 250 miles per hour, snow leopards are very rare and their long tails give them good grip.

I learned that when the female fish spawns, two out 2500 live. I also learned that Tons of the fish have to battle to get upstream. They have to battle thingslike paint, soil erosion, pesticides, and animals. I also learned that lots of creeks in   Kelowna have a lot

of bad things. Like garbage everywere and not a lot of trees. Somebody was even riding their quad in  a creek.

In math we have learned about make  a decimal into a fraction like 0.2 into 2/10. Also in writing we have learned how to write an narrative essay. we give facts about our topic. In reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It is really good.

This week I learned about decimals. We also learned how to convert a fraction into a decimal. like  2/3 to 0.2 we also learned about our new novel study. It's called Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

I am really good at writibg. our teacher showed us a lot of words we can use instead of "the cat ran across the road", you could say, "the sleek black cat ran across the busy road". I am also good at math like 1/2 of 10 = 5. 

I wish I was better at novel study. I wish I could be more detailed and do a final summary. 

 we are learning how to tell an analog clock. we are also  doing a novel study.  the book is called cricket in  time square. i realy like it. we are also learning about light. like it is better to put your low beams on in a snowstorn than your high  beams, because your high beams are on  it reflects the light into your eyes. But if your low beams are on it doesn't reflect into your eyes as much and it is easier to see.

during the holidays I am going to my grama's for Christmas. we are also going to my nana's for Christmas eve. normally my cousins from Japan

 come but this they aren't, because they don't holidays. the've never missed a Christmas, but this year they are. We will all miss them.

nov4today we are going to have a science test. we also had a spelling test. I got thirty out of thirty. In math ,we are doing division.,like 2 divided by 2=1.we are doing vocabulary,grammar, and dpe. (daily paragraph edit )d.p.e. is when we get a paragraph, that has a bunch of mistakes in it and we have to find them.  In writing we are doing a paragraph about a certain thing, like my favourite sport:. (that's what I did) 

November 27,2009

this week we did some handwriting. we also did lots of math.we also had our spelling test . i got 20 out of 20 

november20 we wrote stories about mystical creatures. Mine was about Cyclops and minotaur. cyclops and minotaur, both thought they should own the land. so they decided to battle for it they both won. they realized how foolish they were. they were friends from there on.

(until cyclops got burnt to a crisp)

 october22 i am proud of my writing and writing on the computer                                                                                                                                                     ctober15 today we had a spelling test i got 19 out of 20. we had a math quiz  i got a A. we also had a science quiz I got a A.                                                                                                                                                                                         September 30 We learned  about stereotypes. Stereotypes are people who look at you and think hes mean just because he had a skull on his shirt and looks gruff. When he could really be nice. we also learnt about patterns in math. We had a numbers sheet that went up to one hundred. then we had to  put counters on it to make patterns.

october1 today we learned about tornadoes. then we wrote in our reading response journal. We wrote questions,interesting things about and rewrote some of it.                                                                                                                                                           October 2 We had a Terry Fox run. We had to run in and out of the soccer net. There were signs of cities that Terry Fox ran through like Thunderbay and Quebec City.  we also did a Mandala. a madala is a circle. Inside there is a symbol or a design. I  choose a peace sign because I like it. I also did a friendship cicle with me chase and ashley because they are my best friends. 

october9 this week we learned about patterns in math. we are going to have  a test on Tuesday. we had a spelling test. i got 19 out of20.

October 8 Today we watched a movie it was abut weather.  did you know in the olden days they used a huge balloon with a weather tool attached. That's how they would measure the air.
